Request Books

Our books are meant to reach children. To receive books from us, you must represent a school, group or organization that works primarily with children who do not have easy access to books in their home.

Request Books by Category

You can select a specific quantity of books based on the categories of picture books, early reader books, young chapter books, and chapter books.

Request Bundle Books

You can select multiple copies of the same book. These books can be used for classroom curriculum, gifts for students, book clubs or small reading groups.

Request Little Free Library Books

You can select boxes of books to fill Little Free Libraries. Little Free Libraries can be filled in your neighborhood, across the city or anywhere you travel.

Book Giveaway Events

The Columbus Kids’ Book Bank hosts monthly book giveaway evenings on the third Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm of every month throughout the school year. These evenings are a time when anyone can come to the book bank to select and take home books to help build their classroom or personal libraries.  This is also a great time to pick up your processed book requests at the book bank.
