Request Books

Our goal is to create access to books for kids who need them. All members of our community are welcome to submit a request to provide books to kids in their home, classroom, or community organization.

Request Books by Category

Request a specific quantity of books based on the categories of picture books, early reader books, young chapter books, and chapter books.

Request Book Bundles

Request multiple copies of the same title in sets of five. These books can be used for classroom curriculum, gifts for students, book clubs or small reading groups.

Request Little Free Library Books

Request boxes of books to fill Little Free Libraries. Little Free Libraries create access to free books nationwide and can be filled in your neighborhood, across the city, or wherever you find a Little Free Library location.

Book Giveaway Events

The Columbus Kids’ Book Bank hosts monthly Free Book Giveaways. Anyone in our community with kids in their lives that need books are welcome to attend. Stop by the Columbus Kids’ Book Bank to shop for free books to build at-home, classroom, or community organization libraries.  This is also a great time to pick up your processed book requests at the book bank.
